Hi,

I'm looking for a campsite in Devon or Cornwall (not to far west) that's very close to a nice beach. Any recommendations of the? Doesn't need to be close to climbing but that could be a bonus.

Thanks

Shane

Possibly too far west for you, but Blue Hills campsite, above Trevellas Porth and a boulder hop at low tide away from Trevaunance Cove beach (St Agnes) is very nice.

Come to Guernsey instead - it's quicker to get here than it is to Cornwall for you, and we've campsites by beaches. - Le Vaugrat being the nearest. Plenty of climbing too.

Devon is full. I hear Birmingham is nice this time of year though.

Croyde, nice campsite in easy walking distance of Croyde beach and Baggy Point?

I'm in the same boat as the OP! Keep them coming, Blue Hills is fully booked... I get the feeling maybe everyone in the country has the same idea!

Try the two campsites near Polly Joke Beach (bit further to south).

Croyde is good, some climbing, walks and a decent beach in the area. It can get really busy though.
