Chamonix - looking for summer accommodation

Anyone know where I could look for accommodation in/near Chamonix from mid-June to mid-August? Or got a place to let?

There are lots of options on Airbnb and Booking.com. The cheapest option is to use one of the self-catering multi-person dormitory rooms on the latter. Otherwise Cham tends to be expensive. But you do get a free pass for the bus and train and a reasonably cheap place to store kit if you want to bivouac or hut.

In reply to fifthsunset: the place I rent in winter is 1200€ a month and located in Les Pelerins. Can very comfortably accommodate 2/3, and at a pinch 4. It has everything you could possibly need and the landlord is an incredibly knowledgeable mountaineer.

Thanks for the ideas. Ended up booking somewhere through Airbnb. Now to plan some climbs!
