Hi , looking for some cheap accommodation in the dolomites for September.  Air bnb seems to have gone nuts with their prices.  Ideally self catering and with three bedrooms.  Not really interested in camping as I don't want to take all that kit out.

What do you call nuts and how long for? I have a place in Rocca Pietore near the foot of Marmolada... I could do you an apartment with one in a double bedroom, one on a sofabed in the living room and one in a bunkroom (assuming you're talking about three people?).

When we were out there, there seemed to better deals on booking.com than airbnb. Many of the campsites (such as Camping Sass Dlacia) also had nice looking lodges and mobile homes (ie static caravans) you can rent.

1st of September to the 10th I think ! 

Some were charging more than 3 quid a night ! 😂shocking

Try Casa Alfredo / Alfredino in Malga Ciapela.  Proprietor posts here occasionally - very nice chap & very nice accommodation.  Not cheap as chips but felt like value when we stayed there.
