Cheap camping Dalby forest for less than £20 a night?

Does anyone have any tips for cheap little campsites in Dalby Forest? Wanting to visit the trail centre next week for a couple of days with an overnight. I haven't found anything for under £20 a night which I'm sorry is ridiculous for me in my own tiny tent, no parking required, no electric. I might flush the lav twice and use the sink.

Any suggestions for cheap n cheerful farm camping in the area?

Actually in Dalby? I'd suspect not, and I guess (hope) that the £20 includes the £9 for the toll.

In the surrounding area? I'd also expect not. Everything round here is geared up to campervans/caravans or is filled with static caravans; I can't recall seeing any cheap farm type setups around the place (I live within 10 km of Dalby FWIW).

Not been camping here myself but this place looks fairly cheap (£7.50/£8) .. https://www.prospectfarmcamping.com/contact

if you're cycling, a lot of people tend to park in thornton le dale and cycle in from there so could be an option.

Or https://www.lowfarmcampsite.com/ I don't know prices but they do pizza on saturday nights

How far are you willing to travel? The Hayburn Wyke inn is half an hours drive (11.5 miles) away and has camping for a tenner per night.

And it’s a nightmare for the people that live here. Please don’t. There is a small lay-by out of the village which has space if you’re early.

Sorry, may have misworded that message, Prospect Farm looks like it's in thornton le dale, hence cycling in from there is what I meant rather than drive to thornton and then cycle.

That'll work nicely. Same as using the lay-by or the pay and display - but lots of people (almost certainly not just mountain bikers) are parking in residential streets and the like.
