Hi folks. I'm heading out to a wedding in Croatia with my family this summer (near Split). We are looking to plan a two week trip taking in some climbing (single pitch upto 7b+ or short multipitch) and also some sight seeing and walking in the hills.  We can move about but I don't want to spend too much of the time travelling.  Anyone got any advice? Omis is a brilliant destination and is about 30/40 mins drive south from split. There is everything you can ask for. Single & multi pitch, sun and shade and all grades.

Sadly  many areas around Split face south which guarantees fun-free climbing. Omis has some sectors facing north, for lots of northfacing stuff you probably have to go to plaklenica, less than two hours north. 

Second shout for Omis. All sorts of good climbing there.
