Morning Peeps..

Anyone have any ideas on best and most up to date guidebooks for the Ice climbing in the Cogne area.

Currently Looking at purchasing Alpine ice by Mario Sertori but wondered if anyone had any better options

Many Thanks in advance

The guide you mention is more of a "selected climbs" volume of many areas.  A more definitive one is "Cascades autour du Mont-Blanc" Tome II, Valdigne, Val de Cogne by Francois Damilano and Godefroy Perroux.

There's the Effemeri Barbagli Book for the whole of Valle d'Aosta and other areas, which is easier to find in Cogne. I think it may be available in English now, but someone might have to clarify that.

They also have the FB page which is great for getting an idea of conditions.
