Has any got a recommended guidebook that includes the devils tower in the states, but also something that would include other classics around that area or just the states in general. 

The guidebook would need to include el matador on the devils tower

If you don't have any joy here it might be worth asking on Mountain project forums. Would be interested to know when you do find out. 

There is a guide for Devils Tower but I don't like it much.

If you want the Tower and nearby areas - including Tensleep, Spearfish, Winds, Grand Teton etc etc the best idea is to download the Mountain Project app. You can then download the Wyoming and South Dakota areas and use offline. For the Tower at least it's almost as good as a printed guide.

El Matador is awesome if you can stand the leg pain!

I think we had a Supertopo guide (which we forgot to take) we bought another in the ranger station/shop at the base of the tower. I don’t recall the name of the second one. Amazing piece of rock!
