Hi - I'm off the alps and travelling by eurostar, changing trains in Paris to head towards Lyon.

Have heard that climbing equipment can't be taken with us on the eurostar, and instead needs to go in checked luggage via eurodespatch. Sounds fine, but am slightly concerned about this given we only have limited time to change stations and trains in Paris.

Do any of you have experience from using this service before? how quickly are bags available once we arrive, and how long does it take to check  bags in Paris on the return leg?

I've looked at their website, and tried ringing them but struggling to find much helpful information.

thanks!
