Hi everybody!

My first post here, so go easy

I've been climbing indoors for 18 months or so, and this autumn I'de like to go on a climbing trip with a friend somewhere in England. So far I've just top-roped locally outdoors on the southeast sandstone. I'm happy leading up to 6a indoors if that gives an rough idea of what I'm hoping for. I have my own rope, draws etc.

Can anybody recommend an area that it would be good to visit for a week for good outdoor sport climbing? Range isn't too much of an issue.

Hope you can help!

Perhaps a trip to Portland on the south coast? loads of easy stuff to get you warmed up and plenty of more challenging routes to test you. Its also a lovely area to climb in due to its proximity to the sea.

Cheers for the tip! I've checked it out, found a place to stay and all.
