I've never been and I'm considering going tomorrow. Looking for mid-grade trad and sport. I'm driving from SW London, so it's a bit of a trek, but so are all the alternatives.

I suspect the sports routes will be heaving and the trad routes will be empty

Can't imagine it will be any more busy on the rock as any other crag this weekend.

As for the traffic and village, that will be busy but the crags higher up will get you away from the road...

I don’t think it will be too bad. There are loads of mid grade routes but bear in mind the restrictions.

The sports crags on the northern side will be busy.

But the engine and revving noise from the Imprezza and/or Evo clubs and/or boy racers and/or bikers is usually the worst thing about Ched (even worse than driving through the eateries and shops on the way up).

Thanks for your input, guys. We ended up at Canadian Wall and The Narrows. We had both places to ourselves; not a single climber. The boy racer noise was pretty impressive.
