I'm due to fly to Iceland on Monday - booked a year ago.

I know its "green" but there's still all manner of testing, at least 3x to get in and out. Fair enough.

The question is, what's the country like at the mo from anyone actually out there or been recently?

Busy? Super empty? Cautious and masked or open for everything? Campsites all open?

I am lowering my expectations as all plans may be kyboshed but it would be useful to get some friendly climber info from the ground.

Thanks

Everything's open, no mask requirements. Started to notice some American and British tourists around town, but not too many.

There are a few restrictions in place (see link below) but I think most people don't notice much of an effect on everyday life.

Thank you.

Looking forward to it even though the forecast isn't great around Hvannadalshnukur. It might change
