Hi all.

As the title says, I am interested if anyone has any knowledge (preferably personal) of where I can park and camp near to the start of Ironman Bolton? I am not to worried about electrical power as I can run off grid.

It is probably worth noting that the start is at  Pennington Flash, which is Leigh, part of Wigan. Pretending on your preferred logistics you might want to look more in that area than Bolton itself.

There’s a small car park at the Flash where I’ve notice a couple of camper vans, but no idea if overnight stay is ‘allowed’
