Kestrel nest at Rivelin Quarry

Appears to be kestrel nest at top of Rhodedendron Crack. Avoid for next few weeks please

Great, I'll stick a sign up there and add a note on the RAD. They nested successfully here last year (found by a climber). Did you see an actual nest (would be early if they're on eggs already) or just the birds?

5 eggs. No bird sitting on them, but I did see one earlier in a different part of the crag
