Hello,

I'm planning a trip with my university climbing society and I'm looking for good lower grade locations with a nice walk in where we can take a group on their first international climbing trip.

Does anyone have any recommendations? We are looking to go in either June or late August and want to try an area where it is largely dry so were not battling with temperate weather and can go out as much as possible.

Cheers

Trad/sport/multipitch/alpine/bouldering

does it need to be public transport accessible?

Ailefroide would be a good option. Great campsite, lots of climbing around, good climate, bars, small supermarket. Getting there on public transport might be a bit of a mission but I think there is a train to halfway up the valley and probabaly easy enough to taxi/transfer from there.

There's plenty of low grade climbing around, maybe cut down the choice to low graded.

Sport climbing due to the larger group size.
