Never climbed there but had the pleasure of working there over 20 years ago. Amazing country, the people I came across were so very friendly. Having said that there are many different indigenous peoples, & I only spent time in Tana or offshore. I wish I had been able to travel there. maybe I'll get back one day. Read Dervla Murphy's book.

We wrote a feature in Climber Magazine a few months ago (sorry I don't have the issue number to hand) and included quite a bit of logistics info and advice, so it may be worth trying to find a copy.

I'll try to put it on our website soon but I'm working overseas at the moment so it'll have to wait a while.

It's a wonderful place - highly recommended.

Hi,
Have you made it out to Madagascar yet? I hope to go out soon, and am keen to go climbing out there, so any tips would be good!
