I am heading to Moab this September planning to climb at Wall St. will a single 60m rope suffice for sports routes?

In reply to clp123:

If I remember 70m would be better for more options as some routes are around 30m, also if you’re clipping bolts maybe take some gear too. Some of the routes are super run out!

There are also many awesome areas around the area, High on Moab is probably the best guide book but download the Utah area on mountainproject if you can’t be bothered to faff with books.

Have fun

If you want to sport climb, skip Wall Street and go to Mill Creek! It is simply stunning rock and the lines are amazing. The same can't be said for most of Wall Street. Mill Creek is one of the hidden gems of the West. Also, it is much lower temps than Wall Street. Should be perfect in September.

Take a clipstick. There are several routes that really need it, "Nervous in Suburbia" for example.
