Hi

Thinking of a June trip to the Picos de Europa ... was hoping to go to a single base to do some peak bagging and some shorter/low level cragging - don't know the area at all, haven't even really looked at a map yet but wondered if that's possible and anyone had any recommendations?

Hi Richard, I will be in the Picos for all of June if you need a climbing buddy. I’m staying in Llanes.

I stayed in Arenas De Cabrales couple of years ago, that worked well as a base for a mixture of stuff. I wasn't overly impressed by the valley cragging (although we only went cragging on mizzly days so didn't really give it a proper chance.
