Anyone been to the Sheildaig campsite recently? Heading up that way in the near future and found this online suggesting it is currently closed for upgrade:

Appears to be closed.  There is a rather washed out sign on the gate saying so.  No obvious reason why though... there was no apparent activity regarding upgrading. 

There was however a single tent pitched on the site.   This was the recent bank holiday weekend.  Torridon campsite Is very good.

When I was there a couple of years ago there was virtually nowhere to pitch a tent because the ground had been so churned up by vans.

I can't help but going by your name I take it you're a Super Furry Animals fan?
