Swanage/ Portland Caterpillars?

Off to Swanage/ Portland at the weekend, any news on if the 'infamous' caterpillars are out in force this year would be most welcome...

A quick search reveals that they were out in May last year so we are probably safe now I should think.

Great, I knew they were out last year - but wasn't sure how they cycle. Thanks for the confirmation.

Was there last weekend at winspit, dancing ledge and Cattle trough. Didn't notice any creatures
