A superb area.   Cheap flights to Genoa and cheap rental cars.  

Don’t buy the Oltrefinale guide - buy the local one that contributes to the bolt fund and has the latest routes.  Published 2018.   And it’s far cheaper

And it's a lot lighter and far less cumbersome than the Oltre Finale book (a very useful publication to have though,  if further Ligurian exploration is anticipated).  Returned from Pennavaire yesterday after a marvellous week of climbing.  We climbed mainly the newer crags and found the bolting well towards the friendly side.  Top place.
