In July my wife and I are travelling to Belgium for our wedding anniversary. We have a few days tourist stuff in Brugge before heading down to Wallonia for a look around, we are travelling in our campervan So have flexibility.
I have been looking at the possibility of some via ferrata in and a round Dinant in the south east of Belgium. Most of what I’ve seen on Google is in French and limited in description. Plenty offerings of guided trips which I don’t need. Outright climbing is a non starter as my wife doesn’t and won’t partake.
Is there much scope for free or low cost via ferrata? Would I be able to pick up an English guide book or leaflet in Dinant or Namur. Is there a possibility of overnight parking/sleeping in a small van close to the climbs?
Thanks in advance.
