Went to book our honeymoon yesterday after finally deciding on Hawaii. We thought we might try Virgin Holidays, as although it’s a package, they might be able to help us with where to go.
Worst.Mistake.Ever.
Firstly they couldn’t understand why we’d want to go anywhere other than Waikiki Beach? ‘That’s where everything is, the shops and all the bars’
When I explained that I can’t sit still, and want to do something other than shopping or sunbathing, there was a look of pure shock!
Surely I can’t be the only person to have expected more options than that, in some of the most picturesque islands on earth?
Eventually we went to trailfinders and could not have been more satisfied with the service!
She understood exactly what we wanted, and ended up booking a two week island hopping holiday, including MTB tours, Ziplines, Guided Ridge Hikes, Diving and a Skydive! Would highly recommend them.
But just couldn’t believe Virgin! I expected package Holidays, but not to the level where we had only one option.
