Avalanche in Mt. Manaslu, took 11 lives

Heartfelt condolence to the national and international climbers who lost their lives on the avalanche on Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) in Gorkha, Nepal which happened on Sunday morning (23rd, September). It took 11 climbers and 7 more are injured. It is a terrible accident in the mountaineering history of Nepal. May God give power to tolerate this tragic accident to their bereaved families.
The avalanche occured at Camp III of 7,300 meters at about 4am. It is reported that the team consists of German and Nepalese climbers. Fishtail, Simrik and Mountain Helicopters carried out the rescue operations. Mt. Manaslu is the world's eighth highest mountain.
