I'll be in Chamonix in August. Does anyone know a good bar/place to meet other climbers (UK or otherwise)?

Stay in a popular campsite, the one in Les Chosalets, Argentiere is a good one. Chat to people etc. People out there for the summer used to live in their vans in the grandes montes car park and the lac des galliands area. I'd try and get a few names and numbers from here before you go though as it'll save you time when you are there.
