Hey all,

Appreciate that there are many threads on Cham already, but couldn't quite find one to answer this question:

Looking for multi pitch route suggestions that dont require glacial walk ins.

The weather in the eastern alps looks terrible so thinking of heading over but don't have crampons (or even serious boots) with us.

Climbing about E2 but don't want to travel all the way there merely for valley sport.

Thanks for any input.

There are a huge number of routes in the Aiguilles Rouges buddy. There's also only one snow patch below the Gaspard. You can avid this by climbing on the Brevent, Tour Crochues, and the Veuilloz (next to the Perrons) with lots of trad, mixed ,or bolt options.

The Blatiere and the Peigne are also approachable on the North side of the valley, and are snow free, but the approach to the former is a bit rubbly tricky..

Ex Libris on the Brevent, three star trad route probably E2.

Plenty of routes from the midi-plan, such as the Menegaux and Couzy routes on the Aiguille L'M.

In reply to Dom Mackenzie:

Le Ticket on the Peigne one of the best.
