A team from New Zealand have just repeated the Boardman/Tasker route on the west face of Changabang.  It only took 46 years!

Top effort.... Hopefully they’ll produce a write up worthy of the route.

Blimey, no repeats in all that time ?

Savage Arena is my all time favourite mountaineering book.

Yeah Savage Arena and shinning mountain are 2 of my favourite mountaineering books, I also like Learning to breath by Andy Cave about his ascent of the north face of Changabang with Brendan Murphy in 1997. I grew up a couple of miles from Andy’s home, he is 11 years older than me though.

Yes, a good effort.

Get about a lot those NZ Alpine Team.

Interesting how the team gets publicity more than the individual climbers.

It was an Australian/NZ team that climbed the West Wall not just a "NZ" team.
