Hi,

earlier this year there was a discussion about potential problems with Dogtag insurance (https://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/expedition+alpine/dogtag_insurance_proble...).

The schedule and list of insured activities was fairly contradictory.

Did anyone manage to achieve any clarity on what might or might not be covered?

On the back of that thread, I didn't renew our annual family travel insurance with Dogtag, went back to SnowCard.

I'm on the verge of doing exactly the same

After reading the original thread, i decided to take additional BMC insurance out for my trip to the states. and when my dogtag insurance expires in feb i will not be renewing it. 

Like some others, Dogtag rep promised to get back to me but never did. We jumped over on to Snowcard this year but I'm guessing Dogtag will be hoping the story goes away and the policies still get booked. I for one am greatful that this story broke on these forums as our insurance was void for the things we are doing and it didn't used to be. I won't pay money to a business that behaves like that.
