MSR Pocket Rocket - Highest Altitude and Lowest Temp Used At

Its kit packing time for this years Alps trip, and I'm in a quandry as to whether to pack the Pocket Rocket or the Whisperlite as I'm looking to bivi out above 3000m on this trip. Have you used the Pocket Rocket, say, on the Col du Midi or at the Gouter? How did you find it on an early start when the temp is well below zero (assuming that you pre-warmed the canister)?

In reply to MG: Cheers MG - that's about the height of the bivi site up above the Gouter; is that where you're at?
