/ Rab Expedition Suit
Hi all, does anyone know if RAB will do a larger expedition suit? say XXL or XXXL?.... Alas, my mountaineering/climbing days are well behind me (I worked in the industry in the long distant past 1980's and 90's in Sheffield) and I climbed and mountaineered both here and abroad. I actually knew the likes of Rab, Pod etc etc
The years since have taken their toll, as has the food and wine, but as an astronomer & photographer I spend a lot of time in the arctic regions in winter teaching people about and photographing the Aurora so I am standing, sitting, laying around in the cold and snow a lot. I hate having to faff changing fleece jackets, down coat, trousers etc and thought he suit would be superb for what I do apart from the sizing issues. Any ideas other than gastric bypass? cheers, Andy
Google: 'Phd Mountain Software'; they have a made to measure service, are based in the UK and highly regarded.
PHD seems the most likely choice, as long as you're willing to pay the price. They specialise in custom down stuff, its what they do - my sleeping bag is superb and will probably out last me. It'll be worth it for you if you carry on doing that for 10 years or more.
I'd still e-mail Rab though and ask the question.
Much appreciated Mal

Margo Hayes has redpointed her third 9a+ with an ascent of Papichulo 9a+ at Oliana, Spain. The line was first climbed by Chris Sharma and is a 50 metre endurance-based route.
