I'm planning to walk across Turkey this year following the taurus mountains from west to east. Has anyone had experience or knowledge about available maps, routes or  any useful information. Thanks

I've been following https://ourbumble.com/category/travel/

Travel around Turkey in a motorhome.  They might be able to help with some of the more general information?

Just be aware that walking through the countryside there will often lead to people calling the jandarma, if you arent following a popular hiking route. (people often thought we were out to steal srtefaxts or treasure). Make sure your turkish is up to scratch to talk your way out of this. This is from experience working in western turkey. Security is still tighter than before the coup a few years ago, but not as bad as it was. People very friendly once you get chatting. Sounds like a good adventure. I believe the closer you get to southern border the tighter/looser security, foreign office advice might still have a no go within 10 miles of it, so that may invalidate any insurance too. Generally fairly liberal in cities, less so more rural and further east.

Not exactly what you are planning but I went St Paul Trail from Aksu to Egidrir many years ago. It was marked somehow but no problem to get lost.

There is a free map at https://mapy.cz, just switch to tourist map.

Some basic information is here http://cultureroutesinturkey.com/st-paul-trail/

We just used satellite imagery mainly, I did see a map OS style map once, so they do exist but not sure how you get hold of them, sorry.
