This is a third edition, 1992, has The Rasp on the cover.
(I did include this info in the original post but it disappeared upon posting.)
Hi, I've pm'd you.
Is this the addition with colour photos of white slab? I'm trying vainly to find a copy of the edition with my photo in it; earnest young bearded man in red helmet leading the cannonball finish?
Yes, has a colour photo by Stephen Reid: your helmet is actually blue but you are sporting a pair of bright red trousers* (very alpine). What year was this?
*I'll let you Google for the red troos website...
Great, it would have been sometime in the 1980's. The red trackie bottoms have long gone. The photo was actually taken by Steve Ashton; he gave me a monochrome print but I don't have it in colour. Would it be possible to make a high res scan and email it to me?
Now sold. Thanks to all who expressed an interest.
