Price: £150

I’ve had plenty of use out of these excellent all-round skis and there are definite signs of wear and tear. However, after a good service and some TLC there’s still skiing left in them! The bindings are in excellent condition and worth the price alone.

I had the Marker Touring F10 bindings fitted to these skis a couple of years ago. They’re an easy-to-use and relatively lightweight touring binding, perfect for recreational skiers and tourers. Changing from uphill to downhill is simple and the external frame offers far more security on steep ground than other pin bindings.

Here are the bindings (£275 on Ellis Brigham): https://www.ellis-brigham.com/marker-tour-f10-90mm-small-backcountry-ski-bindings-2019-2020-713812

Here is the bumf about the skis from Salomon:

“The Salomon Scream 10 Hot skis will have you hollerin’ all the way down the mountain! These screaming skis, with the Pilot system, execute long radius carves down sheer faces of the steeps while tightening up the linked carves and boosting the advanced rider out of each carve. The Salomon Scream 10 Hot skis really show their true colors in the more difficult of terrain where their precision confidently leads the skier through bumpy moguls and fluffy powder”

Here are some reviews of the skis:
