/ Wanted: Buffalo jackets- all sizes wanted
Any size buffalo jackets sought.
What have you got?
Why you want them may perhaps help your post.
I've got a herd of old, wearing and dress. But you can't have them!!
Hi Thought it would be enough to say I want some & if someone had one to sell they might respond but as you ask for more details:
I run a charity taking people of all shapes & sizes out in the outdoors. As beginners they do not always have the kit so am after some spare buffalo jackets or equivalent.
Thanks for your interest.
Wishing you good luck in finding jackets.
I am a keen fan of Pertex/Pile for its warmth and durabilty and I still take a Mardale pertex/pile jacket on the hill.
My niece's husband helps the local scout group and they take fleece jackets along as spares. These are probably equivalent of 300 Polartec. I think they got a job lot when a brewery changed its name and they were getting rid of the staff members old jackets.
Buffalo is maybe a bit niche and owners may be jealously guarding their seasoned jackets.
It might be worth asking for thick fleece jackets as well as Buffalo jackets as this would greatly increase the number of jackets available.
Personally I think Pile is a far better material than fleece. I still have some Helly Hansen pile jackets and I know which I would prefer to be wearing in bad weather.
Still have my Tog 24 jacket from the early 80's
I've got a blue Mountain Shirt in decent knick you can have for £25.
I've recently got a larger one off the forums here as for some reason, my old one has become slightly tight over the years.
Thanks for advice
Yep, I'll have it
Have bought one, thanks Jim.
I have an old (at least 3rd hand) Buffalo jacket you can have. Got a couple of small burn holes and the pile is a bit worn on the inside but it still does a good job.
PM me if keen!
Let me know how you want to be paid for.jacket
Have emailed you
Have sent a couple of email responses.
Still keen to buy jacket.
