has anyone bought gear through alpinetrek.co.uk. Was your experience good? perhaps I should have asked before committing but I'm beginning to think they are a fake storefront.

A few times, it was excellent actually, even when I had to return something. What's gone wrong? They got back to me quickly when I emailed them.

thanks everyone, I ordered a few things 3 days ago, all in stock and no dispatch has happened. I guess they must have lost something ....

It's the UK branding for Bergfreunde, who are a well respected German retailer.
Never had any problems with them (other than low stock in my size), their sales are pretty good too.
