If we're being strictly accurate it's the joint lightest and second thinnest half rope on the market compared to the Edelrid Skimmer 7.1.

Surprisingly not if you have an attentive belayer and a suitable belay plate.
But will agree that seeing the string theory dangling between your legs on a runout does pucker up the old chocolate starfish somewhat.
