Hi

I am looking for a new powerful head torch. I have a shortlist of the Black Diamond Icon and the new LED Lenser H7R.2

Has anyone any advice or thoughts on these?

BD Icon is awesome. The only thing I can think of to fault it on would be that you can't focus the beam at all.

Apart from that though it's brilliant.

I was given polar Icon (same as an icon, but with a long lead to the battery pack to get on your nerves) a while ago and really rate it. I've not found a problem with lack of focus. The single button is much easier than the likes of a Myo with gloves on. Never used the Lenser though so can't give a direct comparison.
