The zip on my ME Changabang jacket refuses to stay closed. Any way of fixing it. Annoying on such an expensive bit of kit!

Pop down a local sewing shop and get a new zip fitted?

Squeeze the slider carefully on each side with a pair of pliers (when it´ s right down) to tighten it up.

Depending on how it is made ( and assuming the zip itself is fine) you can sometimes prize off a stopper clasp thingimy and remove the slider and replace it with one ( of the same size/type) that is not worn.
( assuming that the pliers trick goes not work at least for a while. )

Less hassle ( just) than unpicking all the stitching and replacing the whole zip.

Heard good things about these, but never used one myself:

I recently replaced the zip slider on a sleeping bag that wouldn't stay closed, and this solved the problem completely. I followed these instructions from Patagonia: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Replacing+the+Slider+on+a+Coil+Zipper/19455

You can pick up the parts cheaply on ebay - just make sure you get the correct size slider (it should have a number on the back).

Thanks Jim. Hopefully that should do it.
