Hey I was wondering if someone could give me a hand.

I will hopefully be going to Mera Peak in October of next year. I was wondering will I need an insulated boot like a Scarpa Phantom or will something like a Mount Blanc do?

Any advice is always helpful!

In reply to gerrardo:

Double boots like Scarpa 6000 and Sportiva G2 SM would be a good place to start. You really want something where you can remove the inners to keep in your sleeping bag overnight.

Without wishing to sound condescending... are you going with anyone? Albeit it's not the hardest of the peaks in it's range it still carries a fair element of danger. May be worth getting in touch with a guide or more experienced climber as they'll be able to go the all the kit requirements for such an expedition.

Good luck and safe travels,

S
