Hi folks,

Anyone know if there is any way large delamination patches on a proshell jacket can be repaired? (Have contacted Scottish Mountain Gear, awaiting reply)

Delamination is when the waterproof membrane separates from the backing and face fabrics. Because the membrane is so fragile it's almost certain to be damaged when it delaminated, so there will be holes and the jacket will likely never be properly waterproof again. Sorry.

Is it an old jacket? If purchased recently I'd head back to where you got it and ask them to sort!

Sadly as the guy above with the awesome name says it will most probably be knackered! Is it in a high wear area? Lower back, shoulders etc?

Not an old jacket, delaminated on the chest pockets which is my main concern. Was thinking a pro patch on the inside might help.
