Seriously, neither company make bad kit, they both make amazing kit. So if you can get your hands on the stuff you want to compare see which feels better in the hand and go for that.

Unless you've got real specifics in mind it won't matter much.

as you mention it, i dont like the gates on dmm screwgates - those i have tend to screw themselves shut when on the harness.
nicer in the hand tho.

but really, dont get hung up on it.

I dont like alphas, they are hard to strip because of the shape. Petzl sport draws are better. Love a lot of other dmm kit though.
