Eneloops in Black Diamond Headtorches?

Morning All,

Hopefully just a quick question, has anyone successfully used Eneloop rechargeable AAAs in a BD Spot or similar, the newer rectangular models?

The reason I ask is that I've heard Eneloops are a bit 'fatter' than a typical disposable battery, and the Duracell or Energiser ones I've been using are already tightly packed in the headtorch case. Don't want to waste my money on Eneloops if they're not going to fit.

I don't have the BD torch. I do however have some Eneloops. They are 10mm in diameter, if that is any help.

Yes, no problems. I have the square 2016 spot.
