I've been climbing with varying frequency for about 15 years and I've never heard of people doing this. Do people add aftermarket insoles or arch support to climbing shoes? Is there a market for them?
I know in other sports that have tight fitting footwear for example inline skating, there are heat mouldable foams and insoles of various arch heights. So why not in climbing?
They could even be used to fine tune the fit of a climbing shoe for break in or even per route.
