Hi all

Im looking for a soft relatively technical shoe, but comfy enough for all day use. (I might be asking for too much) .  I found this chart from scarpa

https://en.scarpa.net/page/climbing-collection-structure

I know scarpa shoes and know that mago and booster fit me really well. Going off this chart it would seem that the logical choice would be either Instinct VS women's or Instinct SR (if they are still around). Has anyone tried on both are they the same fit? Are there actual differences between men's and women's shoes?  The lasts they have quoted are different so i would expect some difference perhaps?

I don't know about this case, but ladies climbing shoes are usually narrower relative to length.

in this case are they narrower than the SR or narrower than the mens VS?

As I said, I don't know about this case.

If you want soft technical all day shoes the Instinct VS and VSR are the wrong shoe to go for. VS is a stiff edging shoe and VSR is only marginally softer. Neither is remotely an all day shoe - you want the Force V or something like that, and climbing in the 6s that will be technical enough.

The VS and VSR are both the same fit in men's.
