/ Lightweight tent advice
Looking for a tent to use for mountain marathons, cycle touring and the occasional alpine/skiing bivvy, any recommendations for a lightweight tent thats versatile for those activities?
I really like my Nordisk Telemark
Terra Nova Laser Comp, winter night find it wanting but for everything else it’s preetty perfect
Agreed, mine is about 10 years old now and has been used extensively. I sent it for a few minor repairs this year, but really great wee tent. I did ditch the silly pegs though and just got proper ones! Lol
For the mountain marathons and touring, have a look at the Big Agnes SeedHouse SL2 - mesh inner so lovely and light. It doesn't hold any warmth in the winter though. Terra Nova Voyager is my 3 season option.
Margo Hayes has redpointed her third 9a+ with an ascent of Papichulo 9a+ at Oliana, Spain. The line was first climbed by Chris Sharma and is a 50 metre endurance-based route.
