Back when I bought my mammut Phoenix ropes about 6 years ago mammut used to advertise some of their ropes as duraflex which is a thermal treatment. The Phoenix ropes had this and the genesis didn't meaning the pheonix were noticeable more supple. Now I think mammut use a thermal treatment on all their ropes and no longer use the term duraflex.

Can anyone who's bought the genesis recently confirm if they are now more supple? One thing I didn't like about the old Mammut genesis was how wire like they were.
