Does anybody know if Nikwax TX10 is the same stuff that is in the bottle of the TX10 Direct Spray-on? In other words can I put TX10 into a spray bottle and spray away happily, or is the stuff in the TX10 direct spray-on version different in some way to make it spray-able ?

In reply to AndyP:

I'd wager a bottle of tech wash that Nikwax make two different products - the mild soap wash and the reproofer that reminds me of school glue - and just put them in different bottles to suit any occasion

In reply to AndyP: For the record: Nikwax have told me that TX10 and TX Direct Spray-On are different formulations and they advise not spraying TX10.

In reply to AndyP:

I bet the spray on just has a higher water content.
In reply to AndyP: Anyone who says they have the answer to your question is just guessing as the formulation is a closely guarded secret. with that, I am pretty certain the wash in is more concentrated version of the spray on.
