Anyone used the navigation app Outdoors GPS? How do you rate it?

The silence is deafening.

Play Store reviews don't seem very good. OS maps from a developer in San Fransisco...? I guess it's a generic mapping app with a portal to an OS mapping repository, presumably licenced. But I think if I was a developer, I'd produce an app capable of supporting a wide range of mapping sources.

It’s fine, it uses OS mapping but fully downloaded, I prefer the OS App.

Yes Ive used it for quite a few years now in the uk. Works well. Basic but gives you what you want

os maps doesnt seem to work too well on my phone. I am looking for a Viewranger replacement for when it finally go’s tits up 

Anquet works really well on the iPhone. You could have a look at that.

I'm totally Viewranger reliant, too. Any idea when the "tits" will finally be "up"?

I emailed them, saying lots of outdoor people thought Viewranger was the best app out there, and that Outdooractive was pants.

the staff there don't seem too happy about it either, but didn't say when support was likely to end.
