Paramo in the Alps

Hi folks,
I'm off to the Alps in a few weeks to do some snowshoeing and mid level mountaineering. I have a set of paramo kit which by far and away offers me the most weather protection, but is heavy and quite warm. I have an old gore tex jacket from a centre I used to work in that I could take. What are peoples experiences with paramo in alpine environments?

Good luck in Alps anyway!

I did some snowshoeing in Grindelwald last winter, and found the Paramo Aspira to be ideal. If it got warm I just opened some of the vents, and most of the time I didn't need anyting other than a t-shirt underneath.
