I've had various harnesses over the years, always a medium (32" waist). Have just bought a Adjama (online) in medium, are they small for their size?

I've often found Petzl Harnesses to fit on the slender side. A bit less of an issue with the fully adjustable ones, but it pretty much ruled out the otherwise fab Hirundos for me

My waist is around 33" and I have an Adjama in Large which is almost too big for me (if I adjust it as tight as it will go it's fine). Based on that I'd have thought a medium would be about right for you.

In reply to Rockchild:

I know what problem is now. Yes, medium fits, gear loops further back on left, not symmetrical.

I measures padded belt on top of current BD Aspect padded belt. The BD one is longer, hence gear loops in slightly different position over left hip. The only way to have them symmetrical, move belay loop slightly off centre, slightly annoying. Why don't manufacturers either make floating belay loop (Troll Tie Dee) or make floating waist pad?

DMM Renegade, floating waist belt, medium fits 32" waist really well.
