Anybody got any experience with the above?

What are they like mono in mixed conditions?

Front points are quite long and sometimes feel precarious front point on small rock features in my experience. Feels like your a mile away from the rock! They seem to work OK!

Thanks

In reply to jazzyjackson: FWIW I climbed Northern Corries VI,7 in the pair I had and never had any complaints...

They are fairly adjustable and IIRC for mixed I had them set-up with the point in its rearward setting and the toe-bail in its forward setting. That was the exact opposite of when doing Alpine ice with ski-mountaineering boots.

Hope that makes sense.

thanks.

what other ways can you have the toe bail than locked down on the boot?

In reply to jazzyjackson: Not had any chew with mine set in the normal position but feel better when the second pair are engaged/in contact.
